Hyundai Elantra gets a Redesign for 2024

Hyundai Refreshes 2024 Elantra with Bold New Look

Hyundai recently unveiled the refreshed 2024 Hyundai Elantra compact sedan for the North American market. The Elantra gets a shark-inspired exterior redesign along with upgraded safety tech and new premium features. These changes build on the Elantra’s reputation for delivering style, efficiency, and value.

If you enjoyed the Hyundai Elantra of the past, you’re going to love the Elantra of the future. Here’s what you can expect:

Aggressive New Exterior Styling

The 2024 Hyundai Elantra has an all-new front fascia with a wider, shark-nose grille design that creates a more aggressive stance. Thinner LED daytime running lights connected by a bold metallic strip give it a high-tech look. At the rear, Elantra gets new taillights integrated into an “H” motif across the body.

Other exterior changes include revised front fenders, new 15 to 18-inch wheel designs, and tweaked C-pillar trim. Five new exterior colors join the palette, like Ecotronic Gray and Amazon Gray. The refreshed styling makes the Elantra look more athletic and modern to gain more attention wherever you take it.

Inside, the 2024 Elantra’s cabin gains more soft-touch surfaces on the door panels and new color options. Top Limited models are now available with high-end H-Tex leather seating. Convenience is improved thanks to newly added USB-C ports and a redesigned wireless phone charging pad.

Segment-Leading Infotainment, Connectivity, and Enhanced Safety Technology

Elantra continues to lead the compact segment for infotainment and connectivity. All models now come standard with at least a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Limited and N-Line versions upgrade to an eight-speaker Bose Premium audio system. Newly available tech features include digital key access, Wi-Fi hotspots, and Bluelink-connected services.

Infotainment and connectivity aren’t the only areas that get an update: safety is also at the forefront of the Elantra’s new design. All 2024 Hyundai Elantra trims now come standard with rear-side airbags and a rear seat belt reminder. The Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Collision Warning systems gain haptic steering wheel feedback for added collision avoidance. Higher trims can be equipped with a surround-view monitor and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance tech.

Refreshed N-Line and N Models

The sporty Elantra N-Line and high-performance Elantra N also receive exterior and interior design changes. Unique features like dual exhaust, red accents, and sport bucket seats give them an even more dynamic character.

Chassis and suspension tuning upgrades on the Elantra N improve steering, handling agility, and overall fun-to-drive qualities. It remains powered by a 276-horsepower turbocharged engine.

Elantra Still Delivers

The 2024 Hyundai Elantra is available with efficient gas, turbo, and hybrid powertrains. This includes a 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder, 201-hp 1.6-liter turbo, and 139-hp hybrid model. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual, CVT, seven-speed dual-clutch, and eight-speed automatic.

The 2024 enhancements keep the Elantra competitive with segment leaders for design, tech, and performance. Hyundai’s commitment highlights that compact sedans still appeal to many buyers.
